One of the most important factors for skin health is cleansing. Always wash your hands first to prevent bacteria from reaching your face. Start with your hairline first and then sweep cleanser over face and lips and down the neck to beyond where you apply foundation. Gently massage the cleanser after you applied it on your face and leave it a couple of minutes on and remove it with a soft cotton ball.

Skin toning is necessary, regardless of your skin type and should be made on a daily basis. It will improve your circulation and add a healthy glow to your skin. Firstly, you need to soak cotton wool pads in skin tonic and wipe your face in outward and upward strokes. When you reach the forehead, apply the toner from the center to the extremities. The toner should be applied on the chin in circular motions and on the neck by stroking downwards from the chin.

In winter, you need to take extra care of your skin. Cleansing milk is useful especially during winters  and if you suffer from dry skin. For a clean complexion, use a generous quantity of moisturizer. However, apply it at night or when you are certain you won't go out of the house because otherwise it will attract more dirt. Limit the use of make-up during winter months because pimples are more often in this time.
